Cosmic apples, officially known as Cosmic Crisp®, are a premium variety of apple that developed by Washington State University over two decades. This apple is a hybrid between the 'Honeycrisp' and 'Enterprise' varieties. Cosmic apples offer a unique balance of flavor, combining rich sweetness with a subtle tartness, making them appealing to a broad range of palates. Their flesh is remarkably crisp, juicy, and firm, delivering a satisfying crunch with every bite. The flavor deepens the longer it’s stored, developing richer notes while retaining its characteristic texture.
